# Agent Metrics: Measure Mav.next Agent Performance

## Using metrics to improve

<Steps>
  <Step title="Spot the drop-off">
    If qualification is high but conversion is low, the issue is likely the handoff — check your [transfer hours](/mav-next/account-and-transfer-hours) and rep availability.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tune the persona">
    Low engagement or early opt-outs can signal tone problems — revisit [persona and instructions](/mav-next/configuring-an-agent) and [test](/mav-next/testing-an-agent).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Compare sources">
    Pair agent metrics with [marketing source](/mav-next/marketing-sources) attribution to see which vendors send leads that actually convert.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Outcomes shown here are the same ones delivered to your reporting and integrations, so the numbers reconcile with your downstream systems.
