# Exporting Contacts from Mav.next to CSV

> Export a filtered set of Mav.next contacts to CSV for reporting, compliance, or syncing to other systems — delivered to you when it's ready.

When you need your data outside Mav — for reporting, a CRM sync, or compliance records — export your contacts to a CSV.

## Exporting a list

  <Step title="Filter to the contacts you want">
    On the [Contacts](/mav-next/contacts-overview) page, use the [filters](/mav-next/filtering-contacts) to build the exact segment — for example, all converted contacts from a given date range.

  <Step title="Start the export">
    Choose **Export**. Mav generates a CSV of the filtered set in the background, so you can keep working.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get your file">
    When the export is ready, it's delivered to you and available to download from **Settings → Exports**.

## What's included

The export reflects the contacts and the filters you selected — their profile details and the outcomes Mav has recorded — so the file matches what you saw on screen.

  Exports honor your filters exactly. If your numbers look off, re-check the active [filter chips](/mav-next/filtering-contacts) before exporting.
