Honoring opt-out and help requests is non-negotiable. Mav.next handles both automatically for every customer-facing agent — you don’t have to configure anything.

STOP and opt-out

When a contact replies with a standard opt-out keyword, Mav immediately unsubscribes them, sends the required confirmation, and stops all further outreach on that conversation.
  • Exact keywords are recognized in English and Spanish — for example stop, quit, cancel, unsubscribe, revoke and para, salir, cancelar, revocar, plus phrases like “opt out” / “darse de baja.”
  • Soft opt-outs are caught too. If a contact clearly wants out in their own words — “leave me alone,” “wrong number,” “stop texting me” — the agent recognizes the intent and opts them out, even without an exact keyword.
Once a contact opts out, Mav.next will not message them again on that conversation. This is enforced automatically and cannot be overridden from the agent.

HELP

When a contact texts HELP, Mav replies with a support response so they know how to reach you. The exchange doesn’t derail the agent’s conversation. The first outbound SMS of every conversation carries the rate/HELP/STOP disclosure, so contacts always know how to get help or unsubscribe. See TCPA & consent.
You can verify all of this yourself with Send a test — reply STOP or HELP to your test conversation and watch the agent respond correctly.
